Malar Publications South India’s one of the major Tamil evening Newspaper Company awarded a new project to Vishwak for developing a calendar application. Vishwak Solutions in the past has developed for this prestigious media group many other websites including “Maalaimalar.com” and “ThanthiTV.com”.
This time-bound application was developed using iterative release model and integrates current Weather information using Weather API. Due to this Weather API integration the Calendar background changes based on the current days weather conditions for example: Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy, Haze . The other features in the app includes Astrology videos with predictions, auspicious time, dosham & yogam as per Tamil almanac and Vastu Shastra. The subscription module helps in renewing the Calendar application for the without any app updates.
